Default Anybody Know Anything About an 00'Quadmaster?

I just bought one for my father. It is an automatic with a winch. It is in great shape and has 2642 miles. Everything seems smooth and runs great. I just wanted to know if this machine was reliable and if there is an weaknesses that anyone knows of or maintenance points to be aware of. I hope someone has some info.

i have an 00 quadmaster. no maintenance issuses other than the usual stuff. Mine would sometimes slip in and out of 4 wheel drive but all it took to fix is to adjust the cable that connects to the 2wd/4wd lever. I also don't like that there isn't a headlight attached to the handlebars but thats minimal. I've pulled a decent sized wagon of firewood with no problems, tons of power, especially in low. And it will keep up with everyone riding out on the trails too. ithink your father will enjoy his new toy!!

Thanks, that makes me feel better. We had a chance at a '98 Grizzly with the same miles but chose the newer Suzuki with liquid cooling and it came with a winch. I just hope it is trouble free. My dad only puts probably 150 miles a year on his quad but I want them to be trouble-free miles.
