Default Front sprocket gaurd...

OK so I was riding yesterday and I noticed that my chain was hitting that plastic type gaurd that protects the front sprocket. I was looking closer and the piece of metal that is on the inside I am not sure if that is a case gaurd or what but that medal thing was just all magled up and must have got caught in the chain or something.

yes thats the case saver and you can replace them.they're not that expensive.
its sounds like the chain was to loose or you had something up in there
its held on by the 2 cover bolts and if it wasnt put on right it can damage it
pull the 2 bolts and look at it.

The case saver is still in tact but there was another piece of metal in there that I had to take the front sprocket off to get to. It was all jacked up...
