I dont think they made any changes except for maybe plastic color? i might be wrong though. Im gettin an 06 after school this year.

 

Could you get any of us a good deal on the Z 450 when it comes out?

 

The only difference between the 05 and 06 Z 400 is the Blue Graphics, personally I like the 05's look better, and the 05 is $100 cheaper MSRP. Buy an 05, I have seen an 05 for as cheap as $4800 brand new in a trader magizine. (from a dealer)

 

The carb size on the 06 is 37mm, although accidentley listed as 36mm on suzuki's spec page-it's properly listed on their features page I believe, it has 9 clutch plates instead of 8 and some other minor changes. I believe there are other minor changes as well. I found a wesite called troycitygarage.com where they are listed at $5099 and the kfx at $4999. They are in new york. They have the kfx in stock and should be getting ltz very soon. Then I'll make the 3 hour drive. Oh yea, I guess there's an excise tax or something depending on which state your from. Mine will be $200

Awesome service- no pressure at all. It's almost as if they don't care whether you buy it or not, but the guy waited an extra 1/2 hour after closing for me to show up. He wasn't upset about it at all. He laughed and said most of their buisness is from out-of-staters and he's used to it.
