I'm looking to buy a new Z400 within the next 1.5 months. I know the MSRP is $5800...but I would like to know the average out-the-door, total cost of a new Z. Were you able to talk the dealer down from the MSRP?

You should be able to get MSRP down to 5299. Tax and licensing vary state to state. DO NOT pay and freight or set up!

On another note...are there any differences at all between the 2005 model Z400 and the 2006?

When should the 2006 models hit the showroom?

 

$5499 OTD in Southern California. 2005 white n blue. Bought first week of July.

Check the cycle trader first, they have good OTD quotes to start with and then negotiate from there.

It also helps to pay cash instead of credit card cause they will get you with BS 2% credit card charge.

 

Damn, I feel like I did good then, mine was 5100 OTD.
