Ok guys, i know what you are all thinking..not another this vs that. But i have narrowed down my choices to these 2. I noticed the ac is a bit heavier, and more of a utility. Both have same motors.Vinny is sportier than the ac. But my question is which would you get? The ac has independant suspension so thats a plus.

 

OK dude, what are you going to, predominantly, ride? Sport, or utility? When you figure that out, you've answered your own question. If you want IRS, get a Sportsman 500 (I'm assuming you are wanting a 500)-they're going F.I. this year (06). I think you know my preference.

 

I wouldnt pay a penny for a polaris. I hear nothing but bad stories about sportsmans. I dont know much people that liked their sportsmans

 

Although the suspension is nice, i dont hear much about anything else.

 

I just rode with a guy that has a 500AC and he loves it. I have an 05 Vinson and didn't go places that he could in the rutted out mud holes. His clearence due to the IRS is much greater than my SA. As for power goes we drag raced twice and I got him both times. Didn't beat him by a whole lot but it was more than he would have liked. My Vinny is a 5 speed and so was his AC.

 

I own a Vinson and my moms boyfriend has a knew AC, I drove his and I didn't like it compared to my KingQuad, but as far as my vinson I think I would go with the AC 500. But it did feel tippy. siting so high. But they both are good, but don't go with the polaris.

 

get a vinsion and lift it and put big tire and new exhaust then it will go any where but if u feel like paying more na dhaving irs then go with the arctic 500 [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] i personaly would go with a irs but u get better performance from a sra i would recommend sitting on them and test ridin

 

Like 4x said, it's all in how you ride. If deep mud and slow trail cruising is your thing then get the AC. For everything else get the Vinson. Also, ask yourself this. Which bike felt more comfortable when you sat on it?
