Default Used Vinson Buying Dilemma Updated

Thanks to your advise I did not buy the overpriced used Eiger but after reading some of the later posts in that thread I am still considering the Vinson. Here is an updated description and I have posted some photos also.

2003 (yes 3 not 4 as I originally stated)
5 Speed

was a trade-in by a fence installer/maintainer

2200 miles

Listed for $3995. Last price quoted $3599

on further inspection handlebars are not bent. (if you don't line them up exactly 90 degrees with the length of the bike one always looks lower. I just learned that)

I rode it out in a field that had a lot of little hills and valleys. It seems to ride fine. I do not know what the engine is supposed to sound like but it is even, no misses, has even pull up hills. The bike starts right up.

Everthing except the center headlight works. The reflector inside is broken also. The dealer said he would fix that prior to the sale.

One front drive shaft is new. The dealer said a routine service has been performed and will put the specifics in writing.
(I learned that lesson the hard way when I bought my truck)
He is offering a 30 day warranty that covers 50% P&L

This is a bricks & mortar Suzuki Dealer. They have been there the 15 years I have lived here.

I must say that after driving it today the money is burning a hole in my wallet.

Thanks for you advise and interest.
