Default Adjustments

I have a 2004 Suzuki Z-250, and when i shift it makes a clunk noise. I did try turning the idle down on it but that did not work. I was wondering if there is another adjustment that i can do to it or if i need a new part. Thx

Its most likely the result of improper shifting. Be sure to shift the atv with the throttle off. If you had shifted with the gas on constantly then your automatic clutch could be worn out. Just a possibility but make sure.

Does it do it just when you shift into first or all of the gears

It clunks harder in 1st and 2nd, but it does clunk in all gears
