Does anyone know the torque setting for the oil drain plug, I here they strip out very easily.

 

Most are around 12 to 14lb

 

Yea, be careful with that. I stripped the threads on my 02 Eiger, had to purchase a new plate for the Eiger. If you don't have a tourque wrench just tighten it by hand as tight as you can then put on a regular wrench until you meet resistance and give it a 1/4 turn.

Page 2-12 of the service manual, at the bottom page it say the torque value is 15 Ft. Lbs
