Dyna came out with a cheaper non-adjustable version. Its around $250.
I just noticed you have an 05, this is for the earlier models.

Witti,

I noticed you have a reverse rev limiter override on your Z. Where did you get it, how much, and how easy/hard was it to install, and does it still show your reverse light? I've seen them for a raptor but not the Z. I have an '03 Z too.

Im not sure if it works on new models.
here you go-
Disable Reverse rev Limiter

All Indicator lights will work like normal.

Unplug the CDI connector
As you look at the connector with the lock at the top, take a small screwdriver slide it in above the pin you want to remove the pull the wire. I took me a while to figure it out, you wont have to pull hard it should slide right out.

1) disconnect the black wire with the red trace and the blue wire with the black trace and put a piece of shrink tube over each one of them and put a dab of silicone in the holes they came out of.

2)pull out the black wire with the brown trace and the black wire with the white trace. Keep track of the hole they came out of. Make a small jumper wire (about 28 ga.) about 2 inches long, slide it under the rubber seal on the black/brown wire connector pin and solder it to the pin. Do the same to the other end of the jumper and solder it to the black/white wire connector pin. Now put these two pins back in there respective holes. put a dab of silicone between the jumper wire and the wire next to it.

the rev limiter will be set the same in reverse as forward.
