They will work but not well. The lights run off the motor and it may overload your system. Even the stock light goes dim when at idle.

 

I had a TRX250R once upon a time that somebody had intalled some round off-road 4x4 lights on and they worked okay. The issue you run into is the stock stator isn't wound to produce enough power to supply two 55 watt bulbs, therefore they may be dimmer than you would excpect. But if wanted you could have the stator re wound or buy a high output stator to supply the needed power.
