sounds like a blown fuse to me or a bad connection somewhere or somebody is playing a joke on you and unplugged part of the wiring
all the fuses are by the battery

Now, that is not right Playing with someone's quad like that If that is the case.

Do you ride at the dunes? If so has it ever been on it's side i.e. the left handlebar stick into the sand. Last Saturday we were at Little Sahara (Utah) and the wife had to turn out in some real soft stuff on our Raptor, anyway the bike rolled over and it died on us a few times. I finally took apart the plastic case that houses the starter/kill switch and cleaned it out. After that - no problems. Sometimes dirt gets in and either keeps something from contacting or if it is a little moist, might short it out or cause the kill switch to be "off". One thing I just remembered though is the nuetral light would still light up.

I am having the exact same problem with my 03 Z. I have narrowed it down to being the starter relay. I'm 99% sure this is the problem
