Default Eiger Rejet

2004 Eiger Auto. Have the carb low/idle adjustment 2 1/4 out. Idling pretty good, needed adj tho from factory. However, I believe my eiger is running lean. I am big on factory/stock applications, however i believe this was set up at the factory for california emmisions. I can smell this thing running lean. Question is........ what is the proper (mild, not necessarily for speed) Suzuki carb jet #??? Can't be but a few dollars from Suzuki dealer. I do not want to alter air filter box. Thanks!! Pennsylvania.

If you search this forum you'll find Eiger owners have richen the main from 126 to 135 (stock is 122). Some have also added and extra washer under the needle jet to richen mid range. I elected to go with a jet kit as the needle jet taper is different. Also made AKsafari's airbox mod.

I have a 130 main jet now with the airbox mods and a K&N air filter. I'm running a little lean now, so I think if you didn't do any mods you could probably run a 127 or 130 and be good to go. It also depends on your weather. I talked with akasafari and rolsmojave alot on this site before I did anything, but I have been tinkering alot on my own, so if you have any questions send me a message.

I drilled holes in the sides of the snorkel where it comes up by the seat and cut the hole in the top of it a little bigger than what it was. Rolsmojave if you do go up I will buy one from you, I was thinking about a 134 main jet, what do you think.

I reamed out my jet with a torch tip cleaner a lil bigger than the jet. Then put a lock washer under the needle. She ran GREAT!!! I later installed the K/N jet kit and noticed only a lil change + on the high end.

Aksafari recommends the VInson carb.

I understand the putting back together stuff. As a proud QuadAbuser, I'm pretty hard on my machine. Check iy out here!!!
