tranny slipping 05 Vinson
#1
Sometimes when in reverse and the rear wheels are spinning it sounds like the gears are grinding. Also when putting it in high gear it doesnt want to engage sometimes and grinds. I took it back to the dealer a couple of weeks after I got it for aclicking in the tranny or drive line when the brakes are applied. They said it was normal. But it doesnt sound normal.
Anyone had this trouble. And I also need help on adjusting valves and info on where to get a service manual.
Thanks.

if you are in reverse and in 2wd spinning the tires are most likely bouncing and when they bounce down it makes a drive line noise but the gears are not grinding. all atvs do that. as far as the grinding you are hearing when going from low back to high leave the atv in gear and dont put it in neutral when you change from low to high and it wont do that. wayoverpar, mine done that brake squeeking noise also but the more i rode it with some wear it just quit squeeling. i also sprayed some brake dust remover on there that helped also.

Ok It is an Auto machine. It sounds like it is coming out of reverse . ANyway now I have an engine noise the almost sounds like it is knocking. The left hand brake cable has broken or come loose it is not working at all. The engine noise started about the same time. Could they be related.
