I'll tell ya, as it laid on it's side it was still running for a couple of minutes till it died. I rolled it back over and it started right up. This thing is still the King!

Every rider should have a great roll-over story. We were doing donuts in my field one snowy day, flying down the hill and hitting the pond and doing 360s across the pond and shooting off the dam, what a rush! Then 2 of us were gouing to go in unison and flipped at the same time. We rolled over looking for each other ("I hope he didnt see me do that") and busted out laughing so hard we couldnt get out of the snow. Everone said it was poetry in motion. We both were still in the seated position as we flew thru the air.

Our latest flip over was last week when we were racing thru some bottom land and one guy clipped a tree at 40mph. He supermanned in the air about 125 ft. The trees were so close that if he had stuck his arms out they both would have been cut off. The lucky part is that the Prairies have a recall and all the parts on the recall are already ripped off the quad. Now thats abuse!!!!

No tree or plant is safe around us, so it prolly wouldn't be a good idea to hug any of our trees. (you may become a TARGET!! ) However, we are the QUAD ABUSERS. Not the fern abusers. (ferns are too [insert word meaning non-heterosexual] to even run over.)

I'm always amazed by how large the trees are that I can run over now. With my aluminum skid plate on the front I'm less afraid to bash down the innocent forest dwelling, caterpillar feeding, bird roosting, oxygen producing, rain catching, air filtering, house building, paper mill supporting, "future old growth", big-foot hiding, irreplaceable trees. I go out of my way sometimes to mow over pretentious trail encroaching saplings up to 2" in diameter. I think I might try something even bigger tomorrow....

Ah, life is made up of those who have rolled their quads and those who will roll their quads. I belong to the elite group of been there and done that, and didn't like it. I rode the quad up the hill and it rode me down. I am thinking I got the short end of that stick somehow.

Last night!!! we were riding and a banshee rider did a duncan donut. Headfirst down a bank into a creek that was deeper than he thought and a lot steeper, he supermanned over the bars and completely under water. We hoisted a cold one and toasted the recovery of the beast out of the water. ( winched the operater up the bank too. )
