Dirt Wheels is such a pile of garbage - I've been readingsince 85 and quite a lttle while ago cause I can't stand their BS of riged shootouts and blowing themselves all the time. It's actually kinda funny how they worded the 450 article (I read my buddy's) like they were SOOOO important to the design of this thing. Its actually kinda humorous if it wasn't so sad...!

Anyway, we'll see how the new Suzook compares. I really like both the honda and the yammie, so not sure which way I'll go. I'm just waiting for the twin cylinder two stroke form BRP before I make a decison...!

I read Dirt Wheels for the ads, thats it. Their tests are so biased they are worthless.

Dirt Wheels = National Enquirer !

I too was surprised at the amount of credit they took...I think the suzuki engineers are smart enough to build a great competitive machine without anyone elses help. If the size of DW's ego was that in food...there would be no more world hunger.

The yfz has about 35 hp stock so that wouldn't be competitve, it would be in a class by itself if it had 45 hp.

I think the front of the lt-r450 is ugly too, and pulling off the light won't fix that, i've seen one with the light off, and it was still ugly. But if it is as bad as they say it is, I don't care how it looks.

And who cares, 2-strokes suck, they break way too often, and they need there power more spread out through the powerband.

LOL, no doubt coming from a guy who has spent more time in a powerwheels than a powerful two stroke atv. Two strokes will always be the king as far as power output goes, and IMO the Honda 250R still handles as well if not better than any four stroke out there.

I do like the new four strokes. But cc for cc the two stroke is a way more powerful design,Thats why the new machines are 450's and not 250's. If they could have made the power with 250 cc's the new quads would be 250's not 450's. I have ridden both a lot and see good and bad points with both. Its all personal preference. I get what your saying about all around power, but thats totaly just preference. 2 strokes absolutely dominated the off road scene for 20-30 years, now they are being edged out by pollution laws.
