i have an 05 KQ with a 2" lift kit and 28" mud lites, have flooded the tranny many times, finally built a snorkel, keep water just below the headlights and you should be ok.

hey guys, when your out riding with guys on honda rincons, they go in deep, and if they make it i go in to. those hondas can go deep, no belt to get wet. And as long as the water is below seat i aint scard, and it does try to float, i just keep my knees on the seat, balance the best i can and go like crazy.

I was riding today and had the water just below the seat, just make show you dont let it die if you get in to deep, my buddy did on his honda and have had to pull him out 3 times in 2 weeks and drain the water out of his exhaust. Make sure your oil plugs are tight also and check it to make sure that the oil is not milky after your ride, just my $.02 I love to ride in water.

I've heard you can go up to the top of the tires safely...the owners manuals says 1 foot of water though so... But anything above the tires in water and your just asking for trouble IMO if you don't have a snorkel, after all these are ATV's not boats.
