Anyone had to send a warn winch back for warranty yet?

I emailed warn and they said "If your winch is doing what you say, you need to send it to an authorized service center for evaluation."

It should still be under warranty, but if i ship it ups to the service center, do i have to pay shipping or do i get reimbursed for it?

And if for some reason it isnt covered under warranty, Am i gonna have to pay for them to look at it?
