i dont know nothing about the kingquad but i do know my vinson has smoked my brother in laws 450 kodiac even with me running 27" lightfoots. we went riding last week and while crossing a creek with his kodiac he got fender deep in water and his belt housing filled up with water and started slipping. i went thru the same creek with my vinny with no problems of course mine is a manual. there is really no comparison between the kodiac 450 and the king quad.
