I would LOVE a high compression piston!! It's looking like a turbo will be very difficult to do because of this quad being a single cylinder 4 stroke motor. But a high compression motor with nitrous!?!?! That would rock!!

 

I agree, a turbo would probably not be the best idea for a z250. Maybe if you're only riding in a straight line, but I would think with jumps and corners where you are on and off the throttle you would have some turbo lag issues. Maybe with a VERY small turbo...

High compression with nitrous would be alright but I'd be afraid of it. Plus you would probably be spending more on race gas for your quad in one weekend than you would all week in your car.

BTW, I emailed Dirt Wheels and ATV Sport also. Im sick of getting new catalogs and when I find something I want for my quad I look down and they only have it for a Z400.

 

so true about the z400 part...it pisses me off...

yeah it makes me sad when I am reading a mag and there is nothing listed for the z
