easy 65+, its still pulling hard when it his the rev limiter. if i can get past the rev limiter i'm gonna forge ahead and do the 275 big bore kit and a bigger carb and cam. I just think it funny that my friend came out last night with his brothers polaris 700 vtwin and told me he was gonna smoke my lil 250. Needless to say he got his butt handed to him. I got some ideas with the rev limiter. I about to start trying to lighten it up. just think if I can raise the limiter, I can go with shorter tires and gain some bottom end, shorter tires are lighter also and they will look better. I want to try and find some carbon fiber parts for it. I just put a carbon fiber muffler on my sons atv and it looks cool. Also if I put a bigger carb on, my converted 32mm rancher carb might be for sale along with my yoshi slip on and the cam.

everything i have is posted on here with part numbers and where i got it from. Take the time to read back through the forums. You will find plenty of info. I'm at\the point where I;m about to give up. No one on here seems to want aftermarket parts because no one is calling and pestering the companies. What it takes is interest for companies to make parts. No one calls requesting, and no companies get interested. I have asked several times for members on here to take the time to call or e-mail and I have left phone numbers and the names of the peple to contact. I have follwed up and called my contacts and they have received no calls. I guess everyone on here just wants to know part numbers and prices and where to buy but they are just wondering. I can't make these things happen by myself. They are not going to make parts if I am the only one willing to buy. That is exactly why i'm having to do all this research and building my own parts. I guess that makes it better for me in a way because no one will have a z250 as fast as mine. Since i got it to go 60 mph my goal is 70mph. I feel confident i can get another 10mph out of it.

Buy me one and i'll ride it. Otherwise if i'm gonna buy a bigger bike it sure won't be a frame cracking z400 or frame cracking ltr450. A buddy of mine just bought a new 450r and another buddy bought a ltr450 and its not ever a race. the honda is cheaper and looks better. The point: mine your own business. Its easy for someone to say go buy a z400 or a bigger bike, but i bought what i can afford. If i need to go fast i'll drive my camaro.

Go ahead and put 4k worth of mods in your 250 when you could sell it and buy a 400 or something better. Good job keep up the fight!
