ya, theyre sitting up there next to it. tuesday im going to put them on. i read about everyone bending that long bolt so i just took it to town and got a new 8 grade bolt instead. i waited to put them on till i got that bolt which i now have. i hate that im an hour and a half from the quad! im going to haul it down here and ride some dirt roads later this summer.

so far its worked pretty well for me.

ive got a nice little jump up there and before the hay gets too tall i do believe im going to launch off it a couple times tuesday. im curious at the tightened shocks. i used to bottom it out on bigger stuff. i should just get 250r and warrior shocks

Yeah well the upgraded shocks are nice and I'd only go back if I were to blow one of them. But hopefully you've got yours where you want them and save some $ in the process of your build!

money lol. my budget for the build was $800. i spent $1500 lmfao
so much for that one!
my dad used to build race bikes with his buddies that now run wheeler powersports in fort smith. back in the day of the BSA's. they had a turbo 900 kawasaki and everything. i let him ride the lt when i got done and he didnt want to give it back to me. nothing beats a 230 for the size imo. its a trail monster. it was worth every dollar and im sure everyone here would agree how great those little bikes are.

I hear ya! I am still amazed at how many of these machines are still out there and what people are doing just to keep them going. And what suprises me even more is how devoted we all are to these things! I've put a little more into mine than I planned on and I keep telling the wife "just one more part." lol I've probably told her that about 20 times now and she just sighs and shakes her head But if you think about it really isn't that expensive of a hobby. It's cheaper than a new quad, boat, or car!

for sure on being a cheaper hobby! i spend about a grand when i built the system for my truck. kicker, mb quart, orion, jvc, the works. to be honest, im afraid to get anything else. i have a bad habit of making everything a project. started with a 7.5' long chopper bike, then my truck, then the system, now this. i have intentions on getting a 400ex someday and i just know that ill be doing this all again. lol
