Spending another night reading threw the 1000 pages here read through about 350 pages so far.

Love the new D.I.D x-ring chain, has barley any resistance at all. The master link didn't work though (sigh), rocky mountian is sending a new one out free of charge. But have to wait till next wednesday. I guess ill just use the master link from the other chain should be fine don't plan on doing anything but a lil back yard riding.

I made a whole project out of studying chains a couple years ago. Check out a bicycle chain (non oring lol) in motion:

he changed my mind on chains. i run the 520 windowed chain now. well at least til i crashed.

Yeah i was about to get that chain. But iv always boughten D.I.D and they have treated me very well. The chain that was on there when i got it was an Ek chain and i ride up in the appilacian mountians if the chain isn't a good one i can blow threw a chain in just 3 trips. Theres no dirt no grass just rocks and even bigger rocks, ruts, pot holes and just about everything else that could really mess up a chain.
