umm the lt250s didnt have a battery. it was a kickstart model just like the 230s. it did have a slightly stronger lighting coil.

where is the lighting coil located? is that something in the engine? or like, an actual coil

Oops i just googled lt250 lighting and 250s battery came up so i just assumed it had one

Thats what I've heard. Does anyone know if you can make one work on a 230? Anyone know what the output of a 250 coil was?

i have a 250 parts engine. dont know anything about it except a busted cover and a toasted head. would be willing to part with the lighting coil

i think the cam is gone. how do i go about removing the lighting coil?

its on the plate thats screwed onto the mag cover.
