Wow doesn't look like you have much room to mount a sprocket?

Have you widened and/or streched your QS230? Why?

Do/did you race? I've heard of ice racing these machines, but where I live you never see that much ice.

I have noticed, that most often folks that own these machines are first time or entry level riders. But every now and then you see somebody that was old enough to ride when these units were new and there holding on to there beloved zuk. I remember haveing a sales flyer of a 85 LT250R on my wall.

The very lucky entry level or first timers that received a "hand-me-down" or picked one up cheap because it needs work could benefit from our, uhhh, your experience with these machines.
Yes you can search through old threads to, maybe, find the info your looking for but whats the chance?
Who knows, you might just help make up a mind or two to keep theres in a good state of tune or even buy one to bring back to life.
Oh, and if you have pics of a project QS230, either past or present, that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

No s here but i have several lt230equadrunners .... I put a higher compression piston kit nothing crazy like 10:25:1 if i remember correctly & i stumbled accross it .. Stage 1 hot cam .... & the best thing i did was add a 30mm nibbi racing carb it really woke the quad up a lot & it was like 125 bucks

Comin at ya 10 years later, just tell forest service it has an internal spark arrestor.

Default Looking into building a 230e to bookend my 230s.

Has anyone played around with the efi kits on the older machines? I'm thinking it would be fun to try.

Default Looking for rear rims& tires with hubs 86 lt230

Bought this lt230 for $200, did not have rear hub or rims on it. So I took the swing arm off and put a different swing arm from a dirt bike onto it and was going to convert into a three-wheel two in front one in the back did not have anything to match sprocket and chain so went back with the old swingarm.

looking to buy so I can start driving. Not sure exactly if it's the four or five lug will count the teeth on spline of axle. If anyone has any decent condition cheap Let Me Know Much appreciated. Thanks

If you are looking for a longer swing arm for for a LT230s I used a Suzuki LT250s swing arm on my LT 230s Quad.
