my bike isent running to great, well kinda. i can start it up and let it warm up and it will run great or like crap. i have rebult the carb, i have made adjustments on everything and i am now lost on what to do now, rick then lean . then back the other way. it does not like wot at all and it will idle all the time sometimes not great but will do so. just did some testing of the pickup coil has the right amount of ohms but the power source showed to less but the lights work fine. the book says that you have to relpace the stator has to be replaced as a unit with the cdi pickup coil. is this all one unit? has anyone relpaced theirs?

FINALLY figured out how to get pix on this thing!! Would have completed ones up, but my pretty pipe melted my clutch cable.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] I'll get it replaced this week and put the new seat cover on, and post some more.

does anybody know if cltuch pieces are interchangeable for the 230/250/500. i know the 250r's have 6 clutch springs and the 230 has 5. would i be able to buy a clutch spring set for a 250r or 500 zilla to fit my 230 and have 1 spring extra? how about clutch fiber discs? the 230 has 6. i'm not sure about the 250s or 500s tho. any help?

anybody know bout suzuki quad clutches?
EDIT: i got an idea just now. would shimming up the clutch springs be an affective way to make the clutch grab? my lever is very easy to pull and when i hammer the throttle it slips pretty bad. will this mess anything up?

Hi on the front suspension there are 2 rings that hold the bearings in. how do I get the rings out so I can take out the bearings before I sand blast it again. I am talking about the upper and lower suspension arms, i hope you understand what i mean. The frame will get powered coated next week.
PS i will still get to the new thread as soon as i can. i had 3 weeks vacation and the wife drove me crazy. i almost re done the whole freaking house....
