gforce, how much would you want for your rims? What size are they? 10x5 or 10x6? You might have noticed my front rims look a little out of place with the back being polished and the rest of the quad shiny, lol. I don't "need" rims, but could use a set to match my douglas .160 in the back.

I forgot to mention the bolt pattern for the hubs on a 400ex is 4/144. And I have to agree I don't "really" ever finish this quad just keep adding things, btw I have done a little beautification to it right now, it's in a million pieces and will be putting it back together very soon and putting up new pictures and then I will tell you all what I did, pretty exciting tho. It looked pretty sharp before... Remind me to get some sunglasses before I look again.

I have a 350 chevy with 4-bolt mains and a T-56 6 speed tranny with syncro reverse and dual cone sycro for 1st n 2nd and 2 overdrives. In the vette and viper they are rated 600ft-lbs after balanced n blueprinted, mine only 450 the way it is. I just need to find something to put it in. I was thinking some kind of F-body GM (ie camaro, firebird, etc). 68 69 are good yrs!

I also have a 460 ford that's been bored n stroked to 509. It needs a home too. I was thinking a big jeep for that n make a rock crawler. I already have the axles and all the drivetrain for it too. Just need a chassis.

Those projects are waaaay down the road though. The 230 is enough for now, lol.

Does 6-6&1/2 hrs riding sound accurate to a full tank of gas with a couple drops left in the rez on the tm28 or is my bowl overflowing somewhere?

Yeah that sounds about right.. In stock trim probably 8hrs... I think my longest ride was over 95 miles, I was on reserve, pulling a 400ex and an LT400, as they were out of fuel. Ran reserve out 50 yards from truck!!! Good times

**** i forgot to mention... im not sure if its valves contributing to this but the 22.5 on the TM28 setup i have is waaaay too rich once it warms up... (fouling plugs out) plus a big bog if you thrash the throttle open fast.. I had to get roll started a good 5 times that ride.

my friend did the grinding grease and drill trick to reseat the valves. Put new oil seals in on them too, got new rockers, new cam. The spring washers that go on the rockers, one wasnt entirely in one piece... more like a "C" shape. So I put it together like that until i can get one off bike bandit. It doesnt tick at all? A bike mechanic thinks i slipped it a tooth to early or late. I think the pilot is too rich adn thats just how the overlap is on the hot cams.
