I'm not sure but a throttle cable won't break the bank. A brand new one will only run you $12. I got a new clutch cable for $12 and its super nice. If you end up getting a throttle cable, let me know cause when I tried to put a throttle cable on mine, the connecting piece for the thumb lever wasn't right and the guy I bought it from on eBay insisted it was the right part.

you should post some pics up of your 230. Your racing pics are sweet. I bet you own the track racing that Renegade. Not much of a track machine but its faster than ****!

I test drove one and the power blew my mind. At a later date, I test drove the 500 and I honestly didn't realize it was the 500 until I looked down at the sticker afterwards! That one has unbelievable power as well.

 

yea really, thats not my renegade though its one of my friends. i have only raced a few times im gunna try to get this 230 up to par and start some racing. chose th 230 cause the bike is free and im trying to keep myself on a low budget but ill start posting pics cause i have alot of work to do on it. i have to find some plastics some where

 

Last I looked there was at least a partial set on ebay but I don't remember the price. Otherwise DK or anywhere will have them new.

 

yea theres alot in the shipping though, i would probably have to wait until spring to order them but in the mean time i will doing engine work and some frame work
