85 to 88 Suzuki LT230S Quadsport help.
Wow, gone for a few days and everybody comes alive on the site! I will try to get some picks of the stray up tonight with the help of a host site.
I will probably keep a few items for my machine and ebay the others. I do not think it is worth making a second machine and I do not think I want a carcass hanging around a garage that is already to small.
Nice find on the exhaust. sounds nice.

The frame comes in handy for making things like a-arms.
Pick the best steering stem too. I don't know if you remember, but a year or so ago we were all looking for an old "repair weld" on our stems because Gforce (I think) pulled his handlebars off while playing in the colorado snow. It turns out that everybody's but Gforce's was welded.

Ive got a brand new (NOS) steering stem hanging on the wall in the shop. Its still wraped in the OEM plastic. Never can tell when it will come in handy.<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>Originally posted by: JustRandy

I thought about trying to widen the a-arms. I am not sure how much they are going for on Ebay.
Is there a way to swap the shock springs. It sounds dumb but I want to keep the white spring off my bad shock and put it on the good one off the doner bike.
I think I will have to strip it down and take inventory.

What I do to put an image on the page is go to www.tinypic.com and upload my picture, then you copy the code in the box underneath where it says IMG code for forums and message boards. Then you paste it in the normal text area for your reply on here.
