Steel, but the mounts seem like tin foil, and the mounting hardware is Silly Putty.

We'll guys that bike i looked at the frame was rusted all the way through in some area's. I still offered him 150.00 bucks but he would not bit.

hey guys any input here i need to know if any year crankcase will work with my 86 lt230s i got a motor cheap from chain damage i need the inner case on the left side not the stator case just the case this motor is the 1400ml if that changes any thing
