Just haveing a little fun 270. I didnt mean anything by it. I was just spewing information. My intention was to inform and not try an belittle. I hope you see that.

On another note.
I can get my cylinder re-sleeved for $150.00 plus the parts I already have. I hope to start sending parts off to the machine shop pretty soon.

Default 85 to 88 Suzuki LT230S Quadsport help.

Hey guys long time no type. I am in search for some parts for my brothers project, just happens to be a 230 ( keepin' up with tha Jones' ). Anyways he has acquired 3, yes 3 Suzuki quadsports. He has everything he needs except exhaust, carb, plastic, throttle and I think some other small odds and ends. My / his offer is this: if anyone has any of the items that they might be willing to trade he has alot of extra stuff.

axles
rims
lt230s engine (90% complete)
lt230e engine (95% complete) Pretty sure its a E not 100% though
lt250s engine (95% complete)
frames
electrics
seats (torn leather but trays and foam in good shape)
a-arms
shocks
tie-rods
airboxs

I can't even list everything he has but everything appears in good shape (considering mid to late 80's parts).

The engines as far as I can tell are in good shape and for the most part fairly complete. The heads and cylinders are off (but there) and the cranks don't seem to need replacing ( no play up or down ). I don't think it is fair to swap a carb for a complete engine, but maybe with a little negotiating something can be agreed upon. If anyone is interested let me know and I will go through the stash again to see if he has what you may need. As far as I know all he needs is the items I listed above ( exhaust, carb, plastic, throttle box ), but do offer aftermarket parts they are always welcome. Thanks !

I'll see what he says about that. I had a CR back in the day and I remember seeing him do some "tricks" due to the twist throttle. Long story short, he doesn't ride 2 wheelers anymore. If he's interested is there anything your in search for ? maybe trade ?

If I got it, and you NEED it. Then we can worry about the parts and pieces down the trail.
My only concern at this point is getting the machine up and running.
