I have an 86 quadsport that I took the headlight off of. I have not been able to get it started since I posted this in the suzuki forum a while ago. Any way my question is will it not start without the headlight wires hooked up? I am starting to think that the circuit is imcomplete without them. Any help would be appreciated on this as I am desperately wanting to ride my 230 again.

I dont think you cant disassemble the front ones I just taped mine off when I painted them. On the other hand the rear would come apart rather easily I would think.

Have you tried putting the light back on? I ran mine w/o the light and it worked fine.

Make sure the connectors aren't grounding out on the frame or something.

I'm not sure if you can take them apart, but when I painted my 250S shocks, I slid paper behind the springs (which was a pain in the a$$) then taped paper on the tops and bottom.

Worked pretty good for me.

Man, I always forget how good looking that thing was.

I forgot to mention I painted the whole things black before I did the red.
