im liking it... how would light output compare to a run of the mill kc highlighter with a 55watt (H3?) halogen bulb?
Its actually just over an inch in overall diameter! I'll look up some KC specs....

Doesn't look like KC has much in the way of lumen specs. It should be brighter than a 35W halogen, and at a substantially lower wattage. So you could have three of these to one 35W halogen and have 3 times the light output. That and durability of LEDs are what makes them so awesome.

Yeah they would look sweet on a truck!

Can't say on the cost yet. We're still waiting for our 10W LED bulbs to come in so we can do some prototyping. They were on back order for 2 months but they finally shipped yesterday.

So you do like the style and everything though? Not too swanky?

Here's VisionX's equivalent:

Kinda boring looking IMO. The slots on the sides are so you can click more than one together, which seems dumb to me. Why wouldn't you just get a light bar at that point? I'd rather have a light bar than 3 or 4 single lights cobbled together.

'87 230 Quadsport project. Two engines. One is completely disassembled. Needs rod bearings. It is completely apart! The second is together but won't fit this quad without some motor mount fab work. The chassis is in good shape but does need rear axle bearings which are about $30 or so. Comes with a rear set of paddles. Don't want to sell but need the money! This board has been very helpful so I figure I should post it here.

$350.00

Located in South Bend, IN. 574-271-7322 ask for Randy

Those are big lights though, probably 6-8" lights. The one I designed won't be much more than an inch in diameter. The length of it will depend on how much heat we have to dissipate.

You building up a Baja Ranger??

I'm taking our work RZR out to Michigan in a few weeks to Spectrum Sand Sports to get a custom SCORE and BiTD legal racing cage put on. Plus a 22 gallon ATL fuel cell. Should be pretty sweet!

yeah well thats not my exact truck... but similar. mines a little older. but im sure i could make smaller lights fit.

anyways, its an older gen ranger (more squared look) in the build phase right now. plans include - 450+ hp smallblock ford stroker, t18 4 speed trans, np205 t case, 8.8" rear, dana 44 solid axle front, detroit lockers and 5.13's all around, fiberglass fenders, 5.5" suspension lift, 35" tires on black steel beadlocks, lightning style glasspack exhaust, warn winch, and lots more other goodies. its being built to be wheeled in the rocky muddy east, but still be as sexy as a desert truck. oh and is being DAILY DRIVEN! should be done in time for next summer... maybe i should post a build thread in the truck section...
