My vote would be 23 front / 20 back then shave a few lugs off the back to lighten them up.

I just got the frame powdercoated neon electric blue, ive got LT250S front suspension on it, LT250S Pegs and brake lever since theyre a lot wider than the stock 230 pegs. Now the point that i run into a question is with the motor. I have a complete 230 Motor and a Complete 250 motor... I know the 250 will bolt right into the frame, but ive been told that the 250 cylinder matched with the 230's stroke will make a 273?? But i believe the wrist pin diameter is bigger on the 250, so i wont be able to just swap the top ends around.... Or am i completely wrong?

Also i know a HUGE weak point of the quadsports is the chain coming off and hitting the stator cover. I know people found ways to add chain tensioners but they just didnt cut it for me. I added a nylon chain guide to the swingarm from a yamaha blaster.... Best mod ive ever done and havent had a problem with the chain since, once i figure out how, i'll post pics of the chainguide.

Ok here are the pics, hopefully they work. This is on my trail bike so please excuse the way it looks, theres tons of rocks, trees and mud so its hard to keep it looking good. But anyways, heres some pics of the chain guide i made and front and rear bumpers.

Cool! Someone used my chain guard idea.

Use the 250 engine. Why would you even consider the 230 engine??? The 250 has everything on the 230... cam, clutch, valves, porting, exhaust... The 250 is every aftermarket thing you can think to do to a 230 already done from the factory.

Glad to see you still around

rejet the stock one is easier. You could buy the tm28 and beat your head against a wall for the next few weeks trying to get it jetted right. It is a better carb, but definitely not easier!

Well, it was sitting for quite a while, lol! The gas was green in the carb!

I cleaned it up and tried my best to wear the piston out so I can get the overbore in there, but it wasn't happenin. Looks like a trip to the mtns are in order.

You might not have to if you didn't change the intake or exhaust.
