Thanks Just Randy I'll try to make sure they do it. A buddy we all go riding with is working on it for me so hopefully he will do me right. I put on new rear tires last night and they look great.

I'm sure if you tell him what to do, he will do you right.

What tires did you get?


I ended up with these and cut the center lug out for more traction and less weight. It worked pretty well!

I think atvman put a muffler on from some other quad. I have a 250x and can measure the pipes if you want.

For the rear tires I got Mud lite SP 22x11x9 they are pretty nice.

Well i got my race motor to run on 35% alcohol today. I wouldnt push it any more than that. engine temp got critcal. Anyone got any ideas on putting in a cooling fan on a 230s? you wouldnt believe the monster torque it has. a 4 wheeler shop offered me $1200 for the motor! i might take it becuase i am thinking about buying 4 more 230s to restore.

Alcohol runs way cooler than gas, so you should actually be able to richen it up and run lower temps. Have you considered water injection? What about tapping the case for an external oil cooler?

tap the case and put an oil cooler behind the hood, thats what i did with my warrior
