Any other mods done to the thing? I'm very pleased with my 28mm flat slide. Between the carb, the UNI filter conversion, and the new exhaust, it feels like a new machine!

What the heck is a roost boost??

I can't remember the site exactly, I posted it on here a few times, try searching for it. Their price was much lower than bikebandit.

Hey guys. Well in the never ending search for a new money pit I found this neat little toy! Bought it from a guy on c-list for $130! Its a non-running, 95% complete, 1975 Honda XL-100. Its certainly an cool looking little rig. Tore it down today, not a single stripped bolt or anything scary. When I get some more time I'll tear into the motor and hopefully won't find anything exciting!

Anyways, here's some pics:

Thanks man.

Here's two up real close to me in the Twin Cities judging by the area code. Look quite rough though!

1971 Honda SL 100

BTW, sorry for the accidental double post everyone.

Tearing into the motor today on that little bike, I found this thing....I have ABSOLUTELY no idea what it is or how to get it off. Any ideas? All I know is that BikeBandit calls it a "spark advancer" which I know is essentially the distributor. But this doesn't help me to get it off.

The bolt in the schematic turns the motor which would make it hard to remove. Kinda looks like it need to come off though.
