yeah, i'm running 13/39 gears w 20" tires. kinda thought my top speed would be a little higher but it's pretty quick getting there.

I'd check Dennis Kirk or Rocky Mountain for wheels. If you wait till you need tires you might catch a good deal and have them mounted. Tire shops are going to charge you a decent amount of change to put ATV tires on rims.
there is nothing wrong with the gold rims but I repainted my plastic viper blue and it just doesn't look right with the blue and chrome pieces ive put on. I got new tires put on beginning of summer its was only 20 for two so that wasn't so bad.

2 months huh, well that not very long to wait if it runs when you get it back!!! i got mine, took me a year to find all the bugs and get it working right before i could even ride it. Guy that sold it to me said it needed rings, so i bought a new piston and rings, when we tore it apart, it had a bent valve, crack in the cylinder wall and broken piston. so after all of that i had to buy all new coils, stator, and had to rewire, then it ran kinda ok and found out the cdi was weak! but now it runs strong!

Hey folks, just thought I'd let you all know that I am parting out that black 86 230. It was complete (seized motor) so let me know if there's anything you need. I'll be making eBay ads tomorrow.

Also...NEW TOY!!

To clarify on the parting out of the black 86, I'm going to try and sell the motor whole on c-list. So let me know if there's anything you want outside of the motor except for big things like tires, frame, etc (unless your near the Twin Cities).
