well a guy a while ago put a 500 kawasaki engine on his 230. talk about a 100 mph death on 4 wheels.

No Kidding!!! Did he at least extend the swing arm?

nope stock length. he had the tach working on it too. i think he said it was up aroun 9500 rpm before he let out of it.

Ouch. That was a nice color under the black. Are you going with the same idea or complete change? I now have 2 230s one was for parts and now I am restoring it. I just powder coated the frame blue. I will get pics up as soon as I start the build.

I have the works up front and i love them, i can't shell out the $600 for the rear though.

yeah it will be the same color but with a twist. i plan on free habding some tribal graphics throughout the frame in matte black.

the moral of the story is dont try a jump that 2 strokes cant make especially on stock shocks that are 23 years old.

must be nice to have Works up front but the lt250r shocks are a dual rate stock shock with the same performance if you can find a set that dont leak. took me 3 tries to find a good set.
