Just purchased a new vinson and was wondering how do you get the clip out that holds the plastic lid on above the radiator cap. I read the owners manual and did not find it. thanks for the help. also is there any modifications out there to protect the radiator any better. thanks... RICHARD.

 

If you're talking about the small black clip (plug), then use a small screwdriver and push IN on the small center part about 1/4". Then pull the whole plug itself out. To reinstall, push the center piece OUT about 1/4", insert the whole big clip again, then push the center part flush with the outer rim.

PS - They are designed to break easy (rather than breaking plastics which are expensive) so you might wanna get a few spares.
