Default Anyone seen the new LTZ450 yet?

A friend of mine just put a full yoshi exhaust, Dyna Tech ignition system that connects to his laptop to control the power curve, and all the other goodies (nerf, bumper, etc) on his '06 Raptor 700 limited. He's into his quad about 3grand over what he paid for the quad at the dealer.... and the LTR took him 5 our of 5 times up comp hill in sand with my Z400 paddles on....(my new ones hadn't come in yet). He finally realized that the quad is geared wrong for all the items he's added. Mine was stock besides cherrybomb, no lid / arrestor / paddles. The yoshi carbon exhaust sytem is on order (back ordered darn it).

My other friend with an '04 YFZ450 is selling his now because he want's more power... but he's one of those that will only by Yamaha (darn to his generator for his toyhauler). If Yamaha made a car he'd probably buy it. He wants a n '06 YFZ....

I'm rebuilding my '03 Z400 right now with a Athena 440 with stroker crank for my 14 year old son. I've seen one hang with YFZ450's last year during our race season so I know the Z's can hang. I'm doing this so that he can stay off my LTR.... he can wreck his own darn quad... frame at powdercoating and have new black maier race plastics coming for it....

My R450 will easily keep up with a stock YFZ or 450R. Its certainly not a turd. With the box lid on and spark arrestor in, it is a joke. But take advantage of those free mods and it will rip with the rest of them.

s9195, you ought to get some pics up of your rides. Sounds like you have some dough in them.

motox26 - Thanks... I tried to put some photos up in 'my page' but it still lists it as 'pending approval'. Does anyone know how long it takes to be approved...??? My Blaster was listed for awhile in the Project Blaster website last year but they've taken it down because they are located back east and mostly show MX quads. My race quads are set up for TT but we do play with them w/out the lowering kits from time to time.

Anyone know who I need to contact to get approved so my photo's will be displayed???

Thanks in advance...

Any one of the mods can approve them for you.

My son got his R450 a couple of weeks ago. Even in stock form he's quite happy with it. He does have plans to mod it.
