Wiseco Big Bore = 440cc

 

to bore an engine out, you first must know the sole purpose, to boring out an engine. as an engine is run, after the years, the cylinder sleeve/cylinder that the piston is in, gets kind of ovaled out, therefore, you lose compression. to bore an engine out, you round out the cylinder/cylinder sleeve, making it bigger at the same time...this is measured in millimeters...that's why when you look at high compression pistons, it says standard-.?? over...to bore out an engine, you purchase a big bore kit, tell the shop how many millimeters/cubic centimeters the atv will be bored out to...then they use a machine to round out the cylinder sleeve/cylinder, and then install the bigger piston and sleeve...this was not a very good explanation, but hopefully you will get the point...

 

thanks man, i knew how to do it because i have a 2-stroke racing bike, i jsut wasnt for sure with the atv, but thanks for taking the time to tell me...keep em posted!!!!
