Power mods
#1
Sorry to ask once again, what is/are the best mods for the KQ?
Seems that Yoshi hasn't come through as I can tell, just applied 26's with type 5 wheels and I didn't plan on a loss of power due to the supposed savings of weight.
I have read on the links of clutch kits, exhaust, pulling of items in teh airbox, etc.
Help the newby's on here out without having to learn the hard way (Lots of spent money needlessly, nagging wife)!

Welcome to the forum. I would suggest a Epi stock tire clutch kit matched to the elivation you are at. It is one of the best mods that I have done. Have you changed your filteryet? I would suggest that ASAP. I am very happy with the twin air that I have. I can also suppest a Yoshi pipe and a Power Commander. If you do a pipe you will either need the Power Commander or the Dobeck to adjust the fuel / air mixture to account for the filter and pipe. I hope this gives you a starting point.
