I rejeted my viny again and I am very pleased. The dynojet kit doesnt come with any more pilot jets. They say you dont need them but you do. I have the K&N and stock pipe with the sparky out. I had to go one size bigger than the recommend on main jet and one size on the pilot. I put the HMF pipe on for 2 rides and decided to take it off. It wasnt much louder than the stock pipe without the sparky but I wanted to be quitier. When I want to be loud I take the raptor. I almost didnt take it off because of the great power it made. If anyone is interested in it let me know.

how does your vinny do w/ only rejetting? what size jet(S) did you use? i've always heard to re-jet means to re-pipe also. which model HMF did you use? considering jetting and piping myself for more LOW end ! how far are you from Elkin, NC? ( i'm about an hour N of Charlotte on I-77)

I live in Ashe next to boone. Its the HMF with the quite core. You have 3 different options straight thru just the sparky or quite core. I did loose some power when I took it back off but I needed to be quiter. Dad rides with me sometimes and we work with it and he didnt like it at all. Like I said its not to much louder with the quite core. Plus when I want be loud or wilder I take the raptor.

You pull the spark arrestor out. You can do air box mods. I have seen antime that you do anything to the flow of air you need to rejet. Even after I was done with mine I had the airbox lid off and it wouldnt run for crap. If noise isnt a issue and your not going to be in deep water you could make these things alot more powerful.

Depends on the year. The 04 and up have a screw at the bottom end of the pipe and the others have 3 nuts on the end. You take the screw or nuts out and take some pliers and wiggle and pull it out. Did you get the message I sent you?
