lt450r

My bad, I took it as you "hopping on the bandwagon" with the anti ltr450 group. I've always been open minded towards these things. I bought my lt250r just because it was available, and I hadn't owned a quad in about 11 years. I was actually looking for a trx250r, but ended up missing out on one that went for $1500 because I forgot to bid. I enjoyed getting back into it and decided to buy a brand new one. I chose the z, not because I already owned a Suzuki, but because it was everything I was looking for at a good value. I was also considering a 700r but a big part of my decision was price. When I'm ready to buy a new one again, my decision will be based the same way. It will have to have everything I want, and be a good value. Next time, I'll probably buy an all out sport quad. This time I had wanted a sport quad with electric start, reverse and good reliability. I had also considered the trx400, but the newer engine design and better shocks of the z eliminated that choice for me as they were within a couple hunded dollars of each other. My next quad will probably be a trx450r, yfz450, or ltr450. If it is a totally new design (like this years ltr450) it will probably be eliminated because I wouldn't buy the first production year of any quad, until it's been proven in the real world.

I try not to do that (Bandwagon).Alot of people do though.Magazines are sometimes the worst;I remember they said the YFZ was way better inthe power dept. over the TRX, and then I rode the TRX and found that if there was a difference the average rider would never be able to tell.I was actually waiting on the new LTR but they kept dragging their feet so I bought the YFZ.Not to mention I don't want to get caught up in the 1st year blues again like I did with my Z400.

yea, I would never buy the first production year unless it was a leftover after a year and a half with no reported major issues. When I was in the market for a new one, I waited another month to get the next year. Now I've got this whole clutch cover thing to worry about though, because that hadn't surfaced yet. Suzuki better take care of it. I thought my warranty expired on the third, but it actually expired on the second. I spoke with the shop on the second and brought it in on the third. I don't even know if mine has the issue yet, but they say ALL 2005 and 2006 z/kfx 400s are effected.

its ltr450</end quote></div>
Your dumb what?
Its spelled "you're".
And I wouldn't mind having one, but I'd have to ride one first to know if I liked it better than the YFZ. Or maybe I'll just wait for the 2nd year of the new KFX.
I say buy whatever you want. Just ride something and have fun.
