just picked up the new lt450r
Picked up my LTR for 8000 OTD here in California. I have seen an average of 7500 to 8500 OTD on all the sites? If people are willing to pay, that's what they'll sell them for. I have had my quad out 3 times, rode hard, dusted YFZ's and not one problem to report yet. Keeping my fingers crossed.

The magnesium issue is avoided by changing out the coolant from the factory. I've only used engine ice in my z400 since '03 and have never had a problem. I'm not saying it's still an issue with newer Z's and the LTR450, but I didn't want to take a chance.
And to BlackKawi400's remark, we get nickeled and dimed all the time when buying toys/cars/etc all the time here in CA. We can thank the Sierra Club for most of the headaches. That's the price we pay for living in CA, but I'd rather live here and pay a bit more since we can virtually play year round. In the are I live in, it never gets to cold or to hot yet I can drive 4 hours and have snow or have +100 weather. The darn tree huggers just make it more expensive to enjoy it...
