What do reed spacers do???
#2
They move the carb farther away from the motor thus giving you a little more on top and bottom and a good amount more mid. But with your mods I dont know if you'll fell them very much, maybe in mid and low end. I love mine they helped a lot with my almost stock blaster. I got them on planet blaster for 16 shipped.

I found that a reed spacer worked on my son's '03 blaster when it was a 220. It gave the quad alot more bottom end. He was able to keep up with the 240's on the holeshot and coming out of turns but they'd pull him on the straights.
But when we put the 240 kit in it we found that the spacer actually took away from mid range. This was after we had a great port/polish job done to it from CT Racing. We even tried the CT pipe and found that the Toomey B1 gave us a bit more top end. (CT doesn't know that we're not running their pipe). The only difference in the two was the header on the Toomey was larger towards the top bend.
lt2stokerider - not sure where you could get one. You may want to size the manifold and find something that is close like the Blaster ones.

I didn't have to reject my blaster either when I put on or took off the spacer. I've been keeping a look out for a LTR250 spacer but havn't found one on ebay yet. My suggestion would be to get ahold of some gaskets for your inlet, then take them to your local shop and ask them what is in production now that uses the same size gastets (bolt holes and all). Who knows, Suzuiki/kawi/honda/yamaha probably still uses that same size for another quad/bike. You can also try using the diameter of your reed cage... just throwing out something that hopefully would help you....
