You can get the clutch kit for the manual or auto Vinson.

OK... I ordered the Diamond G Snorkel last Sat. Today I got a refund from them saying the product was unavailable. CRAP!! Does anyone know a similar snorkel? I do not do deep mud or water, I want more airflow.

I have installed the HMF Utility Slipon, K&N Filter and Prefilter, DynoJet kit today, and about to test ride after I out the fenders and seat back on. The DynoJet kit was really easy to put on and I am a computer geek. The Exhaust took about 30 minutes to put on. I also wired and installed the contactor for a Venom Winch on top of the back utility box under the fenders and rack. Sorry had to gloat, this is fun!! HOLY CRAP Batman. I can light up the backend any time I want. Driveway is torn all to hell. Thanks for the advice guys!! This machine has really been awakened!! Yea baby!! Thank you guys for all the great advice. Went with DJ122 main jet, and seems great so far. No WOT runs yet, but maybe will sneak out tonight and visit the neighbors. I know the Bottom end is pretty good, had to open my mixture screw to right at 3 turns. Probably needs some tweaking.

any body running the Dial a jet? I have one on order and considering going that route but would be interested to hear what people think of it first.

From what I have read the Dial-a Jet is not worth the effort. It would probably help if you did a lot of elevation changes. With it you wouldn't have to rejet the carb for elevation changes. A lot of guys really like the clutch kit for the auto's. Erlandson performance is the place to get it. If you are at 3 turns on the mixture screw you may want to step up to a #38 Keihin pilot to get the setting back down to around 1 1/2 turns. Come on over to highlifter.com, we have cookies. lol

I have a 03 vinson auto. Would the Dynojet kit make any difference with running stock pipe a uni filter?? have any of you guys tried the jet kit with the stock pipe?? I was woundering if it would even be worth the time & money or would I really need the pipe to make a "noticeable" difference?? I want to stay with the stock pipe because of hunting etc...But would like more mid/bottom. Thanks!!

I will probably order a 38 Pilot. I may also go up to the DJ124 as well, but need to do some WOT runs and a plug chop before I tear down. HMF Exhaust sounds cool. TONS more low end. Can't keep the stock rear tires from spinning.

OK joined highlifter forum.

Picking up the #38 Pilot and Keihin 142, 145 and 147 jets today at the Suzuki Dealer when I go buy my son a helmet.

I had some time to raise some hell around the property yesterday and it is definitely lean. I can smell the lean mixture smell. This is without the DG Snorkel because I cannot find one available. Anybody got one they want to get rid of? HMF Core is rattling in the pipe which I do not like, it is almost like the groove in the end cap is cut to deep. I put a few dabs of HT RTV in there to quiet it down.

I figure I will go in with the 145 main and 38 pilot and see where we get. Got a Dial-A-Jet supposed to be here today but I think I will return it or sell it. Rather get it right with jets and go with it if possible.

Thanks again for all the help.

As for the jetting with stock pipe helping... not sure, although with the jetting pipe and K&N my Vinson is definitely noticably more power on the bottom end.

For maximum low end power and with no sacrifice to top speed, the best bang for you buck on the vinson is My Mod#3.
