Default 2004 Suzuki Eiger 400 4x4 CV Boot Problem?

I have a 2004 suzuki eiger 400 4x4 and tryin to replace the outer front cv boot. I've got the tire, rotor, caliper and everything else off and I just need to put the new boot back on. I have no experience what so ever doing this so I have no clue what to do. How do I get the new boot over the joint? Is there something else i Have to take off or is there some way that joint comes out or what?

Ahh..good job so far. You need to pull the whole CV shaft out of the Diff., you do this by giving it a firm jerk and it should pop out. After that put the shaft in a vise, you can then procede to hit the outter joint off with a mallet or hammer and block of wood, takes a couple blows. Then put the new boot on the shaft along with the clamps. Pop the Joint back on, put grease in, install clamps, and tap it back into the Diff. Easy as pie as long as you don't get in a hurry
