Default TIMING TROUBLES

I GOT A 86 LT250,I THINK IT IS OUT OF TIME,IT IS VERY SLUGGISH WITH LITTLE POWER.IS THERE MARKS ON THECASM AND WHERE DO YOU POINT THEM.

Default timing trouble

u need to remove the flywheel cover (no fluids inside) and take a look at the stator it has a mark on it that u line up with an arrow on the engine right above it. must remove flywheel to get to stator screws
