I have an 06 z400, and I was about to send all the stock shock to be rebuilt for my weight and riding style when I came across some slightly used Elkas done close to what I want for the front. They are not exactly what I would have ordered, but close. They are triple rate w/ remote rezzie. No comp or reb adjustments though. Would these be a better shock to work with then having a good builder redo the stock piggybacks?

 

Go elka all the way, the stocks are nice,yes, but you cant beat aftermarkets for shocks

 

we got the triple rate elka's dune edition for the wife and they are great. even sold the stock shocks off her quad for some extra $$$
