Default Eiger Out Did A Kodiak

Was out on a ATV Poker Run, Sunday May 21, Ramey PA with my Eiger manual, I was riding with guy that owned a new Yamaha Kodiak, it rainned all day and part of the course we all had to go thru seat height water holes, The Kodiak had trouble with its belt slipping, my Eiger had no problem. Personal story, I almost purchaced a new Kodiak instead of the Eiger, and most of my friends own Yamaha's mostly Big Bears, Wolferenes, and Kodiaks, and after I got the Eiger all they did was make fun of it and cut it down telling me its junk and I made a big mistake buying it. I wanted a Yamaha Big Bear, but the Yamaha Salesman all he did was cut down the Big Bear and did everything to get me to buy the Kodiak, I told him I didn't want the Kodiak cause its a belt drive and I was afraid of the belt slipping and smoking, the salesman told me that belt would never slip or smoke, if it did he would kiss my a**, he did anything even reduced the price to $5200 for the Kodiak to get me to buy it, I left cause he had me confused and I went to a Suzuki Dealer and got the Eiger. Now im glad I got the Eiger, Now im very happy with it cause it out performed a higher class Yamaha.

Thats the same reason I went with the manual. Although the amount of deep water crossings I do is a lot less than I expected. It sure is nice not having to worry about the belt when I do find one. Out of my group I am the only one with a manual. After a few of them got there belt wet a few years ago they are all very timid about going into some mud holes now. I say Snorkel it and have fun.
